Apartment Hotel, Almaty. To design a premium-class apartment hotel integrated into a mountainous landscape. The goal was to create a comfortable and private environment that reflects regional identity while offering high-quality living and clear functional organization.
Cascading Landscape
The project is shaped by the natural topography, with buildings arranged in cascading terraces that respond to a significant elevation change and provide unobstructed views of the mountains. The masterplan includes a central building, apartment blocks, and private villas, forming a cohesive and hierarchical composition. The architectural language combines soft, fluid forms with a restrained material palette. Facades are finished in light-toned architectural concrete, complemented by brass accents and dark metal elements that define rhythm and depth. Subtle ornamental details reference traditional Kazakh patterns.
A cohesive architectural ensemble that merges with the landscape while maintaining a strong identity. The project balances expressiveness and functionality, creating a comfortable and приватная environment with panoramic views, clear zoning, and a high level of spatial quality.
